March:
Aerate lawn (Warm season grasses)
Clean perennial beds and freshen the mulch.
Fertilize spring blooming bulbs.
Overseed fescue lawn if not done in the fall.
Plant early season vegetables.

April:
Fertilize summer bulbs.
Plant warm season vegetables.
Prune Boxwoods.
Prune and fertilize Azaleas, Camellias and Rhododendrons after they finish blooming.

May:
Apply fungicides to lawn to prevent brown patch and dollar spot.
Plant annual flower beds.
Plant warm season grass seeds.
Watch out for whiteflies on Gardenias.
Watch for fire ant mounds.
